Place du Châtelain will be one of the markers of the transformation of public spaces in Ixelles. The proposal of our team was to allow citizens from the surroundings to re-appropriate the transformed public space and to welcome new uses to contribute to the liveliness of the area.

Within the context of this project we organized two workshops within the framework of the market that takes place every Wednesday on the public space. Our presence allowed us to communicate upon the future transformation of the place. We engaged with passing-by people around a large scale model and explained them the future project for the site and integrated remarks expressed by the participants that seemed to have value in order to improve the urban situation in the future.
